This Disclaimer forms part of the Terms of Service. Where this Disclaimer and the Terms of Service differ, the Terms of Service govern.
The short version
In plain English. Yone helps you think about your business architecture. It doesn't make decisions for you, and neither does its AI. Anything the AI produces is a draft for a qualified human to check — it can be confidently wrong, it can reflect biases in its training data, and it isn't professional advice of any kind. We don't promise the Service will be available at all times, meet your particular requirements, or satisfy any regulation that applies to your business. Check the output before you act on it.
1. AI-generated output
1.1 It is decision support, not a decision
The Service includes AI Features that analyse, propose and enrich business architecture content. Everything they produce is a proposal for human review. You may review, amend, accept or reject any AI output before it is saved, and you are expected to.
1.2 It is not professional advice
AI output does not constitute professional, legal, financial, regulatory, architectural, technical, tax, or any other form of advice. It is generated automatically and has not been reviewed by any qualified professional before it reaches you.
In plain English. If a decision matters — regulatory, financial, contractual, or anything affecting people — have a qualified person check the output first. Treat it as a first draft from a fast but fallible assistant, not as an answer.
1.3 It can be wrong
We make no representation that AI output is accurate, complete, current, or free from error or omission. Language models can produce plausible-sounding content that is incorrect, invented, or internally inconsistent. This is a known characteristic of the technology, not a defect in the Service.
1.4 It can be biased
AI models may produce output reflecting biases present in their training data. We make no representation that output is free from bias. Apply particular care where output touches on people, roles, diversity, equalities, or anything with an employment or discrimination dimension.
1.5 You are responsible for what you do with it
You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving any AI-generated content before acting on it or incorporating it into your operations. We accept no liability for decisions made on the basis of AI output. See Clause 14 of the Terms of Service.
1.6 Third-party AI providers
AI processing is performed by third-party providers, currently Anthropic PBC. Their acceptable use policies apply to your use of the AI Features. We may change provider on notice. Your content is not used to train or fine-tune any model — see Clause 14 of the Data Processing Addendum.
2. The Service generally
2.1 Provided "as is"
The Service is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, all warranties, conditions and terms implied by statute, common law or otherwise are excluded.
2.2 No availability commitment
In plain English. We work hard to keep Yone up, but we don't sell an uptime guarantee. If you need contractual uptime, service credits, or a guaranteed support response time, talk to us about a separate agreement — don't assume it.
We do not offer a service level agreement, uptime commitment, support response time commitment, or service credits unless expressly agreed in a separate signed written agreement. The Service may be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control.
2.3 No fitness warranty
We make no warranty that the Service will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that defects will be corrected. You are responsible for determining whether the Service is suitable and lawful for your intended use.
2.4 No regulatory compliance warranty
The Service is a general-purpose business architecture tool. We do not warrant that it, or anything produced with it, complies with any law, regulation, standard or framework applicable to your business, sector or jurisdiction — including financial services regulation, healthcare regulation, public sector requirements, or data localisation rules outside the United Kingdom.
2.5 Third-party dependencies
The Service depends on third-party infrastructure, AI, email and payment providers. We are not liable for their failures, outages, changes, or discontinuation, beyond our obligations as their customer and, where applicable, our responsibility for sub-processors under the DPA.
3. Your data
You are responsible for the accuracy, quality and legality of the content you put into the Service, and for exporting anything you want to keep before your subscription ends. We accept no liability for Customer Data deleted after the export Grace Period has expired. See Clause 11 of the Terms and Clause 13 of the DPA.
The Service is not designed for sensitive personal data. See Clause 16.4 of the Terms and Clause 4 of the DPA for what must not be submitted.
4. Website content
Content on our public website — including blog posts, guides, comparisons and glossary entries — is provided for general information only. It is not advice, may not be current, and should not be relied on for any decision. External links are provided for convenience and are not an endorsement; we are not responsible for third-party content.
5. What this Disclaimer does not exclude
Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded — including under mandatory law in your jurisdiction. See Clause 14.3 of the Terms of Service.
